Diamond was only 44.
It was just three weeks ago that we learned former “Saved By The Bell” star DUSTIN DIAMOND was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Early prognosis was not good. And unfortunately, Diamond lost his battle with cancer quickly.
He felt no pain, according to his manager, and was brought into hospice care last week.
Having interacted with Dustin on numerous occasions, and watched his headlines of sex tapes, reality shows, and general drama later in life, you can’t help but see some conflict in his life. He told Oprah Winfrey that being a child star truly took away his childhood and never let him make some of the mistakes that we were all able to make, growing up outside of the limelight.
With as much personal turmoil and trouble as he found himself in, I can only hope that his soul is at peace, and his family and friends are able to celebrate the Dustin – and some of the special memories WE all remember from “Saved By The Bell.”
