The drummer, co-founder, and leader of the band Fleetwood Mac was born June 24, 1947 in Cornwall, England.
He formed Fleetwood Mac with John ‘Mac’ McVie, combining their two names.
There were several early incarnations of the band, but the group we know today, came to the United States in 1974.
Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks cranked out hit after hit – while enduring strained relationships, divorces, love affairs, and drug use!
