The New Movie On The Brat Pack Is A Must-See
Throwback fans know all about the Brat Pack. The term was first used in a 1985 article referencing a group of young actors who starred in teen films in the 1980s. A writer for New York Magazine came up with it after seeing several actors mobbed by fans in Los Angeles.
The actors starred in some of our favorite ensemble movies – films like “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “St. Elmo’s Fire.”
Members of the Brat Pack included Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy.
Now, nearly 40 years later, as the doc points out, we’re learning that being in the Brat Pack wasn’t good for those in the Brat Pack.
Andrew McCarthy reunited his fellow actors for a new documentary on Hulu, produced by ABC News Studios. “Brats” will feature many of the members of the Brat Pack talking about their experience for the first time.
Check out the trailer below and make plans now to watch when it streams on Hulu June 13.
