New Huey Lewis Mockumentary
It’s the show we never knew we needed until we heard about it – and now we can’t wait!
’80s singer Huey Lewis is teaming up with his fly-fishing buddy Jimmy Kimmel for a new half-hour sitcom called “Whatever Happened to Huey Lewis.” Lewis will play a fictionalized version of himself as he goes about his day-to-day post-hearing loss.
In 2018, Lewis announced he had severe hearing loss that left him unable to hear music, thus, unable to perform or sing.
The new sitcom is being produced through Kimmel’s entertainment company and will air on Fox. It will be filmed with a single camera and is being compared to “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Lewis is one of the most beloved singers of the 1980s, thanks to hits like “The Heart of Rock & Roll,” “Power of Love,” and “Hip to Be Square.”
