The Top Three Albums Of All Time Are…
Ready for something that just might blow your mind?
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently updated its list of the best-selling albums of all time in the United States.
For Throwback fans, it should come as no surprise that the top three are probably albums you listened to in the 1980s!
Coming in at No. 1, it’s the Eagles’ compilation album, Their Greatest Hits, with 38 million units sold.
At No. 2, it’s Michael Jackson’s Thriller with 34 million albums sold.
And in the new No. 3 spot, it’s AC/DC’s Back in Black, with 27 million copies sold.
Back in Black edged out the previous No. 3, the Eagles’ Hotel California.
AC/DC is still rocking – the band just wrapped up a comeback tour in Europe, and their song “Thunderstruck” just became certified diamond by the RIAA.
