This ’80s Heartthrob is 52 Today
Corey Feldman, who rose to fame in the 1980s, is celebrating his 52nd birthday today!
Feldman appeared in so many of our favorite classic ’80s movies! Films like “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter,” “Gremlins,” “The Goonies,” “Stand by Me,” “The Lost Boys,” “License to Drive,” “Dream a Little Dream,” and “The ‘Burbs.”
With all that early success, Feldman went through some troubling times, too. He went through a public battle with drug and alcohol addiction, was emancipated from his parents at age 15, and has said he was sexually abused by someone in the film industry. Feldman has also been accused of sexual misconduct but no charges have been filed.
These days, Feldman is focused on his music career. He just released a new video for his song “The Joke,” directed by Fred Durst. It’s ’80s-inspired, pays homage to “The Goonies,” and he even channels his childhood friend Michael Jackson. It’s… really something!
He’s also on tour this summer and has been posting photos and videos on Instagram.
