Alanis Morissette’s Ad For Phone Company Is… Ironic!

Phones are supposed to keep us connected… but we’re more disconnected than ever before.

Ironic, don’t you think?

That’s the idea behind Alanis Morissette’s new campaign with UScellular.

Morissette appears in a new commercial referencing her song, “Ironic,” in several scenes highlighting today’s digital habits.

One scene has her encouraging a family to put down their phones at dinner, except they have to use their phones to access the menu!

UScellular is encouraging people to put their phones in US Mode so they can set time limits on social media apps, quiet push notifications, and set quiet times.
