Timelines are confusing.

These days, if you see a commercial on TV for a Christmas promotion, it’s usually from Amazon, some new streaming service, or a self-driving car.

Commercials back in the 2000s were a completely different experience. Is it the offputting aspect ratio? Or the old timey voiceovers? Or the fact that we used to pay to have a GPS unit in our car (years before it would be included on pretty much every phone)?

While we can’t put our finger on exactly what makes these feel eons old, but take the trip with us. Do you remember watching any of these back in the day?
