The Throwback Games continue tonight with the best Marathon Songs of the ’90s!

Last night, we had the longest songs of the ’80s, tonight we focus on the 1990s!

#3 “I’d Do Anything For Love(But I Won’t Do That)” by Meat Loaf

The album version of this 1993 song is truly a marathon at 12 minutes, 1 second. Thankfully, the radio version ran 5 minutes, 13 seconds. The song was Meat Loaf’s first and only No. 1.

#2 “Bitter Sweet Symphony” by the Verve

This 1997 song ran 5 minutes, 58 seconds on the album and 4 minutes, 33 seconds in the radio version. The song is based on a sample from a 1965 version of the Rolling Stones song “The Last Time.”

#3 “Freedom! ’90” by George Michael

The 1990 song clocked 6 minutes, 30 seconds on the album and 5 minutes, 21 seconds on the radio. It was a huge hit for George Michael, and famously featured supermodels in the music video.
